THREE people were taken to hospital last night following a triple accident.

Two fire engines, three ambulances and an emergency response vehicle were sent to Rhosrobin Road, Gwersyllt, shortly after midnight on Friday, July 15.

Two young women and another casualty were taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital with minor injuries.

The North Wales Ambulance Service duty manager, said: "We sent thee ambulance crews and an EMR vehicle to the scene.

"Two young females with minor injuries were taken to the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

"Another casualty was also taken to the Wrexham Maelor with minor injuries."

A North Wales Fire and Rescue service spokesman confirmed two appliances from Wrexham were called to Rhosrobin Road in Gwersyllt at 12.06am to an accident involving three cars.

The spokesman added: "Three casualties were taken to hospital."
