A WOMAN was taken to hospital when a car crashed into a central reservation on the A55 in Flintshire yesterday.
Police were called to reports of a vehicle had collided with the central reservation .
The accident which involved a Ford Focus car happened on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 31 and 32 near Holywell.
The inside lane was blocked and traffic was queuing.
The ambulance service was called at 4pm. A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We have a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance still at scene.
“We’ll be conveying a woman in her 30s to hospital but we’ve not left the scene yet. Injuries not thought to be life-threatening.”
