A FLASHER wearing a ski mask exposed himself at a belly-dancing class in a Chester church.  The man walked into All Saints Church on Vicarage Road, Hoole, at 7.45pm on Wednesday with his trousers around his ankles – and began pleasuring himself in front of horrified dance students.  He then headed off through the orchard at the rear of the Vicarage as police officers were called to the scene.  Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who might know the flasher’s identity, to contact them immediately.  The incident happened just a week after a suspected flasher followed a female dog walker at Westminster Park on November 26.  And just four days before this, on November 22, a man exposed himself to another dog-walker in the same park.  Officers believe the incidents may be linked and have vowed to step up patrols. People are being advised not to go out alone during the hours of darkness if possible and to stick to well-lit paths.  PC Gareth Lawrence told the Leader: “A male went into the church hall where an Arabic dance class was going on at 7.45pm. He was naked from the waist down with his trousers around his ankles and masturbating. He apparently had a ski mask or scarf around his face.  “He came in through an unlocked door. We would appeal for anyone with information on this incident to call the police.”  The news first emerged online on social media platforms Facebook and Twitter.  One local resident wrote: “Ladies be aware! Apparently there is a flasher in the Hoole area! He actually went into the belly dancing class at All Saints. “It could be highly upsetting if this person approaches youngsters or anyone vulnerable. Be on your lookout and phone the police if you see anything suspicious!”  Following the incidents at Westminster Park, Inspector Brian Green said: “Incidents of this nature are rare but we take them very seriously and want to do everything we can to identify those responsible.  “I would ask that members of the public whilst out walking their dogs in the more isolated or secluded locations consider doing so with others and also use well lit and well-trodden paths in close proximity to others.”  Anybody with information on either crime is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
