THREE firefighters are saddling up, ready to take to the road for a long-distance motorbike fundraiser.
On July 22 Adam Brightman, watch manager in the North Wales operational support and development group, Chris Wood, firefighter in Wrexham, and Dave Kett, crew manager in Rhyl, will ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End within a day, only stopping to refuel.
All proceeds raised will be split between The Firefighters Charity and Help for Heroes.
Adam said: “It is a challenge that all three of us wanted to take part in. By doing this, we are also able to raise money for two deserving charities.
“We will start first thing in the morning and hopefully complete the challenge within 24 hours.
