POLICE conducted search warrants at three Shrewsbury homes in the same street.

Twenty officers were involved in executing warrants at premises in Middletown Square, Monkmoor, on October 13 at 7.30am.

Two men were arrested at separate addresses and given cautions for possessing cannabis, a Class B controlled drug.

Small amounts of cannabis were recovered from two addresses.

A Ford Fiesta car was also seized on suspicion of illegally using red diesel.
Inquiries concerning the vehicle are ongoing in conjunction with Customs and Excise.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “This is the latest in a series of similar drugs warrants which have been conducted in the Shrewsbury area.

“Tackling drugs remains a priority for the police in Shropshire and the rest of West Mercia and we continue to proactively target those involved in using, supplying and producing illegal substances.
