FRIENDS and family have paid tribute to a 32-year-old man who collapsed and died in the street.

Shaun Goss, of Wingfield Close, Ditherington, died when walking down Whitchurch Road, Shrewsbury, with his parents Tom and Pam, partner Emma and two of his children on September 15.

An inquest last week delivered a verdict of sudden adult death syndrome, meaning no clear cause could be determined.

Father-of-seven Shaun, a fanatical Liverpool FC supporter, leaves behind children Lauren, Connor, Sean, Callie-Ann, Macauley, Teagan and DJ.

Paying tribute, sister Tracy Graham posted a poem on facebook in his memory, which read: “As kids we lived together, we fought , we laughed, we cried. We did not always show the love, that we both had inside.

“We shared our dreams and plans, and some secrets too. All the memories we share is what bonds me to you.

“We grew to find we have a love, that is very strong. It’s a love shared by our family, that will never fade away.

“You are my brother not by choice, but by the nature of our birth. I could not have chosen a better one, you were the best on earth.”

Cousin Jess Lester said: “R.I.P. Shaun, you were an amazing person to everyone, you were an amazing brother to Tracy, Kev and Tom, son to your mum and dad, dad to your children and amazing uncle.

“They all loved you so much. You were an amazing cousin too and we all love you so much. We are gonna miss you so much Shaun, we really are.”

Friend Mike Morgan said: “Only spoke to you the day before Gossy. Such a shock.

You were a nice lad and a good laugh, R.I.P. mate.”

A funeral service was held on Tuesday at Our Lady of Pity Church, Meadow Farm Drive followed by a committal service at Emstrey Crematorium, with donations made to Air Ambulance.
