FED-up residents now have an easier way to report anti-social behaviour.
A single telephone number to report incidents such as vandalism, drug dealing and graffiti has been set up by the Safer Stronger Communities Partnership.
The telephone number for private residents and housing tenants went live on June 28 and calls will be dealt with in a Shropshire Council call centre.
Calls made out-of-hours will be taken by a CCTV monitoring centre.
Insp Ian Rouse of West Mercia Police said: “The bottom line is that people should not have to suffer from the anti-social behaviour of others, whatever form the behaviour takes. Tell us and we will act. We are now better equipped than ever to help.”
Report incidents on 0345 678 9020 from Monday to Thursday 8am to 8pm, Fridays 8am to 6pm, and Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
