Police were embroiled in a stand-off for several hours with a man who clambered on top of a low building.
Nearby residents said on Tuesday that the man had been on the sub-station roof at Celtic Street, Connah’s Quay, since about 3.30pm.
The man, who was wearing a black coat with the hood up and black trousers, was heard to shout: “They want me for the jail” when someone thought to be his friend asked what he was doing and then told him to come down.

A North Wales Police spokesman said they were called at 3.25pm and added shortly before 8pm that the incident was over.
A post on the North Wales Police Control Room Twitter page said: “Male now down from the roof and with officers. Thanks for your patience.”
