A LORRY crashed into a low bridge on a road in Wrexham.

It happened at about 11.30am yesterday on Abenbury Road, where the truck struck a low bridge and collided with a wall.

North Wales Police confirmed no one was injured and the truck was the only vehicle involved.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 11.35am on Tuesday to reports of a road traffic accident on Abenbury Road in Wrexham involving a lorry.

“A paramedic in a rapid response car and crew in an emergency ambulance attended, and a man was given a precautionary check-up at scene.”

This is the worst journalism ever. What "low" bridge? It hit the bridge OVER the river Gwenfro! A "low" bridge would be OVER the road.
