Man treated for injuries after camper van rolls near Mold

A MAN received treatment from ambulance staff after a camper van ended up in a ditch yesterday afternoon.

The accident involving a white Citroen Romahome happened at just after 4.50pm on the A494 near the A541 Chester Road junction on the outskirts of Mold.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We sent an ambulance to the scene. A man was treated for minor injuries. He was not taken to hospital.”

l A DRIVER suffered minor injuries when her car spun in
the road.

Emergency services were called to Greenfield Road, Greenfield at 9.10am yesterday after a motorist hit the kerb, causing the car to spin out.

A police spokesman confirmed they were called to a one vehicle collision yesterday morning. He said a female motorist suffered minor injuries.

Greenfield councillor Rosetta Dolphin, was passing by the area when the incident occurred.

She said: “A young girl was driving. She hit the kerb and her car spun twice. They took her off in a neck brace. I think it was more as a precautionary measure.

“The road was closed for about three hours.”
