A BRIDGE could remain closed until the early hours of Thursday as weather conditions continue to cause disruption.
The Flintshire Bridge, Deeside Industrial Park, was closed at 2pm on Wednesday and will remain closed until 1am on Thursday subject to changing weather conditions.
Traffic will be diverted via A494T, A55T, A5119 and A548, Flint.
The Met Office has issued an amber 'be prepared' warning for 60mph winds inland with the biggest gusts on the north and west Wales coast.
A red warning, meaning "take action," is in place for north west Wales.
Flinthsire Council deputy leader, Cllr Bernie Attridge, has confrimed agencies are discussing possible action with North Wales Police.
He said the authority was closing Flintshire Bridge at Deeside from 14:00 GMT.
The winds could bring down trees and cause a loss of power supplies.
