A 71-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault against two boys.
Officers from the National Crime Agency (NCA) yesterday made their 19th arrest as part of Operation Pallial.
This is an investigation led by NCA director general Keith Bristow into allegations of historical sexual abuse in the care system in North Wales.
The offences are alleged to have taken place against two boys, from 1977 to 1985, when they were aged 13 to 15.
The man, from Ellesmere Port, was taken to a police station for interviewing by NCA officers from Operation Pallial.
No further information about the arrest, or the specific nature of the offences being put to him, has been provided.
