FROM preparing sandwiches to performing in front of sell out crowds.
Finishing third on Britain’s Got Talent, brushing shoulders with celebrities and signing a £1million record deal.
To say it’s not been a bad year for Holywell’s Richard and Adam Johnson is a huge understatement.
The Leader caught up with Richard, 22, to hear what the past 12 months has been like for the pair.
He described it as being “totally unbelievable”.
“We have gone from popping out to do bits and pieces,” he said.
“Staying in the house and working a 9-5 job.
“And now singing has taken over our lives.
“It’s unbelievable, it has gone from one extreme to another.
“A few days ago we performed in front of 10,000 people at the Classical Spectacular in Birmingham.
“That was absolutely frightening. “We were invited to see the screening of the Hobbit on Wednesday night.
“We were invited to a VIP ITV party a couple of days ago.”
On Friday night the brothers were also set to attend the ITV Christmas party, where they were also due to perform in front of a star-studded audience.
The Leader will be catching the brothers every day this week to get an insight into “the day in the life of Richard and Adam” in the build up to Christmas as they also wait to see if their new album Richard and Adam The Christmas Album can top the charts.
