A SPOOKY fancy-dress party has helped get school children in the trick-or-treat mood.
The primary school pupils at Ysgol Owen Jones, Northop, enjoyed a Halloween-themed party one week before the annual event.
The youngsters donned scary outfits, including Dracula, witches and werewolves, with one pupil even turning up dressed as Frankenstein.
The party was organised by the Parents and Friends Association and ex-pupil Callum Williams attended as DJ of the event.
Headteacher Jamie Tennant said: “It was a great party and fun was had by all. There were so many great costumes as well.”
The children took part in activities such as make a mummy and musical statues during the party, which took place in the school hall.
