THE region is gearing up for a world-class cycling race passing through the streets today.
The Tour of Britain will fly through the streets of Wrexham and Flintshire in a key part of stage four of the week-long event.
The tour will arrive in Wrexham county at around midday before cyclists power on into Flintshire - arriving at around 12.45pm.
The 1,600km race, which began at peebles in the Scottish Highlands and will finish in London on Sunday, features cycling royalty in the form of Sir Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish.
