A 45-year-OLD has denied murdering another man at a pub in Wrexham.
Francisco Prevete, of Weale Court, Hightown, Wrexham, made a 15-minute appearance before Judge Merfyn Hughes QC at Caernarfon Crown Court yesterday.
Prevete is charged with killing Craig Maddocks, 34, of Llay, at the Cambrian Vaults on June 26.
He was remanded in custody.
Judge Hughes told the defendant: “Your next hearing will be on October 2 at Mold Crown Court when further arrangements will be made for your trial.”
Prevete was represented by QC Andrew Thomas.
Barrister Simon Mills appeared for the prosecution.
