TRIBUTES have been paid to a man found dead in Flintshire.
Airbus worker Colin Wilson, who was in his forties, died at his home in Tivaton Close, Connah’s Quay on Monday.
North Wales Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner for North East Wales, John Gittins, has been informed.
Chairman of Connah’s Quay Town Council Cllr Andy Dunbobbin, a friend of Mr Wilson, said: “I knew Colin through football. He was a staunch Liverpool fan.
“The last time I saw him was at an awards ceremony we held at the civic hall not so long ago. He was always a positive guy.
“It’s really terrible news and I was very sad when I found out. I’m very sorry for the loss to his family.”
Cllr Ian Dunbar added: “My condolences go out to him and his family at this sad time.”
A spokesman for Airbus at Broughton said: “We are all deeply saddened to hear this tragic news and our thoughts are with Mr Wilson’s family and friends.”
