TWO men have been charged in connection with an alleged £81,000 fraud against the Airbus company at Broughton.
Their cases were sent to the crown court yetserday.
William Beamish, 46, of Browning Drive, Great Sutton, Ellesmere Port, and Ronald John Williams, 55, of Chestnut Grove, Birkenhead, are charged that they committed fraud while in a position of trust.
The charge alleges that between April 1 and December 31 last year, at Broughton, that they committed fraud while working as Airbus night shift workers.
It says that while they were expected to safeguard the financial interests of Airbus Corporation Europe, but that they abused their positions to make a financial gain of £81,912.
District Judge Andrew Shaw, sitting at Flintshire Magistrates Court at Mold, ruled that the case should be dealt with at the crown court.
He sent the case to Mold Crown Court and bailed them to appear there next month.
