WEMBLEY REDS: Wrexham FC players head to London despite snow

ON FRIDAY morning Wrexham FC's players just about managed to head off to Wembley on time.

Club secretary Geraint Parry said: "We managed to leave about 11.10am when we got the last player on the bus.

"Mark Creighton struggled to get out of his estate in Bala but luckily he made it in time.

"We're just heading north through Chester and there's a lot less snow up here.

"The FA have said the groundsman is happy with the pitch at Wembley and there's more rain than snow expected there.

"We're just worried about whether the fans can get down."
