A SANDWICH shop owner is raffling two tickets to see Wrexham FC at Wembley.
Mark Williams, 50, owner of the Snack Shack on Bradley Road, Wrexham, is holding a raffle for the match tickets plus coach travel to raise funds for the Bersham ward at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Mr Williams wanted to help the ward after his mother, Ann Williams, 73, suffered a stroke in October last year and was cared for on the ward.
He said: “The tickets were actually mine and I was supposed to be going with a friend.
“But Bersham ward has been absolutely fantastic and I wanted to raise money by holding a raffle for them.
“It’s for two tickets and coach travel and it’s going to be a once in a lifetime experience for someone.
“My mum’s been in hospital since October but she’s coming out soon. She’s comfortable and we’re all relieved that she’s coming home.
“I’d like to thank my brother, Steven, and sister Deborah as well as my mum’s sisters, Pat and Rose, for their support.”
Tickets can be bought for £2 a strip by visiting the Snack Shack in person.
