A teenage girl was left shaken after a man in a hooded top exposed himself to her in an alleyway.
Police are appealing for information after the incident in Bryn Mor Drive, Flint.
The man was disturbed and he made off in the direction of Northop Road.
The incident has prompted warnings on the social networking site Facebook not to go out after dark.
Flintshire acting inspector Paul Wycherley said: “At about 7.15pm on Tuesday, February 26, a local teenager was walking through an alleyway in Bryn Mor Drive when a man indecently exposed himself to her.
“Fortunately, another person entered the area and the man made off in the direction of Northop Road.
“The young lady was unharmed but clearly very shaken.
“Her attacker is described as being about 5ft 10ins, of thin build and wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a dark hooded top.”
It is thought the attacker’s face was covered.
Acting inspector Wycherley is keen to hear from anyone in the area at the time who may have seen the man or other suspicious activity or from anyone who may know the identity of the offender.
