THREE women were injured in a two car crash.

The collision happened at the junction for Pandy on the road from Llay.

Two ambulances arrived at the scene just after 8pm last night (Thursday).

A 25-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman were travelling in one car.

A 36-year-old woman was in the other car and all three were taken by ambulance to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said they were being treated for non life threatening injuries.
