Two men have appeared before a crown court judge today accused of the murder of a 65-year-old grandmother at her Wrexham home.
Alexandros Wetherill, 23, of Plas Gwyn, Wrexham, and Christopher Curran, 34, of no fixed address, have both been charged with murder and conspiracy to burgle after the body of Glynis Solmaz, who lived on her own on Wrexham’s Caia Park estate, was found last week.
After an eleven-minute hearing attended by members of the pensioner's family at Caernarfon Crown Court, Judge Merfyn Hughes QC remanded them in custody until May 7 when they will be asked to enter pleas.
