Wrexham FC unveil coach travel details for Wembley trip

WREXHAM FC have unveiled details of the club’s official fan coaches to Wembley for the FA Trophy final.

Designated pick-up points have been included covering areas across Wrexham and North Wales for the big game against Grimsby Town on Sunday, March 24.

The cost of the coaches will be £30 for adults and £20 for children under 16 accompanied by adults.

Coaches from Wrexham will be picking up from the front of the sports hall at Glyndwr University, with fans being able to use the Glyndwr University car park.

Pre-booking is required and fans have been asked to stipulate the pick-up point they require when booking.

All the official coaches are executive and have toilets.

Following the club’s meeting at Wembley today, officials will also be announcing hospitality packages and overnight coach trips for the Saturday night, and a two-night package for the Saturday and Sunday nights.

These will only be from Wrexham.

    Although I am not against Wrexham football club organising coach trips for their fans, I think a bit of consultation with the owners of the premises at the Pick Up points would have been appreciated. Have the club considered the noise and commotion a load of fans can produce pre match at such an early time on a Sunday morning? Have they informed the neighbours and the local authorities? Have they even informed the property owners where the Pick Up points are?
