Electrical fault sparks Wrexham store blaze

A BUSINESS had to close after an electrical fault sparked a blaze.

Firefighters were called to B&M Bargains in Regent Street, Wrexham, at about 10.45am on Sunday following reports of smoke coming from the building.

Two crews from Wrexham attended and found an electrical fault was to blame which an electrician later confirmed was in a light fitting.

Nigel Roberts, crew manager, said: “There was no damage to the building itself and only a bit of smoke, more like a haze, was emitted.”
