A DISABLED man says his life is being blighted by fly-tippers.
Pensioner Edward Watton, who is paralysed following a stroke, said fly-tippers have continually dumped rubbish outside his property on Moorfields, Holywell, in recent weeks.
He is urging those responsible to stop and for steps to be taken to clear the rubbish away.
The 72-year-old, is desperate for the situation to be resolved as it is causing him great distress.
“I have reported this to the council and am very unhappy about it,” he said.
“Stuff is getting tipped near my house almost every night and day.
“Someone is just continually dumping stuff there.”
Mr Watton said the dumped items to the side of his home have included household items and plastic dog beds.
“With being disabled there is nothing I can do to stop this,” he added.
“It is absolutely disgraceful what is going on. I would call for cameras to be installed to catch these people who are dumping the rubbish.
“It feels like I am being plagued by these people.
“The rubbish being dumped is causing me a lot of distress.
“With being disabled I can only watch what is going on and not tackle it myself.
“I just want whoever is doing this to stop and for all the rubbish to be taken away.”
Mr Watton said he lives in a Flintshire Council-owned semi-detached property.
