Railway equipment stolen from Gwersyllt line

RAILWAY equipment worth £18,000 has been stolen from the line near Gwersyllt.

British Transport Police are investigating the theft, which happened on Tuesday January 29. 

 They are appealing for wit nesses, particularly a man seen walking his Alsatian dog nearby at the time of the offence, around 10pm, who may have seen the culprits.

The goods were stolen from a storage unit around half a mile north of Gwersyllt station, next to Mold Road.

Anyone with information can call British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 quoting background log B2/WQA of 05/02/2013 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

    Why does the Leader put comments (0) under articles when they do not allow comment on the article. The hospital closures are a disgrace and unelected body is hiding fro the debate and this paper appears to support the idea of no debate on the cutbacks.
