Wrexham fire alert a false alarm

FIREFIGHTERS  were called to a town centre bank after reports of a fire - but it turned out to be fumes from a toaster.

Two fire engines from Wrexham plus the aerial ladder  went t  o Lloyd TSB on Regent Street but it turned out to be a false alarm.

A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “We had a call at 10.12am to reports of a fire at a bank on Regent Street, but it turned out to be a false alarm.

“It turned out to be fumes from a toaster.”
