HEARTLESS vandals have attacked clothing bins which raise money for local causes.
Yobs have struck twice in the last fortnight, leaving generous donations strewn across a supermarket car park.
The recent snow and rain has ruined some items so they can no longer be sold to help worthwhile causes.
The Redressed bin on the Somerfield car park in Connah’s Quay has been repeatedly targeted.
The container collects unwanted clothing for resale in the Redressed charity shop on Chester Road West, Shotton.
Brian McManus, an advisor for Re-dressed said: “Someone has been at them twice in the last two weeks and scattered the contents around the area.
“I know it might only seem like old clothes but they raise money for local charities, keep people in work and provide affordable clothing for people on low incomes.
This affects people’s jobs and what clothing is available for people on a budget.”
He added: “We are disgusted. We do a lot for the community and the community supports us by donating items. Then someone has to do this.”
Redressed raises money for more than 20 charities and good causes across Flintshire.
