SINGER Charlotte Church will top the bill when a music festival returns to Wrexham in April.
Following on from the success of the 2012 event, FOCUS Wales Music Festival and Conference will once again take over venues across the town centre for three days and nights, showcasing more than 100 bands from Wales and around the world.
Charlotte will be performing material from her latest solo release, Two and Germany’s Michael Rother, founder member of cult Krautrock bands Neu! and Harmonia, will play the music of both bands at the festival.
They will star alongside a host of the best new Welsh talent including Wrexham’s own Gallops, Man Without Country, We Are Animal, John Lawrence and many more.
Other international acts announced include Japan’s Moja, who return by popular demand following a memorable performance at FOCUS 2012.
This year there will also be a special focus on music from Canada represented in five showcase slots by Mise En Scene, Darren Eedens and Ingrid Gatin of Toronto, Mushy Callahan (Alberta) and Noble Thiefs (Winnipeg).
Running alongside the gigs will be a series of music industry seminars and events.
FOCUS Wales 2013 takes place on April 25, 26 and 27.
