A LINE-UP of sci-fi stars has been announced for this year’s Wales Comic Con.
The comic book, fantasy and science-fiction convention is in its fifth year and will this year land on September 23 at Wrexham’s Glyndwr University.
It will play host to more than 30 star names, on-hand to meet the public, sign autographs, pose for photographs and take part in Q&A panels throughout the day.
Names announced for this year include Jerome Flynn, currently starring in the critically acclaimed HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones, also famous for his role in Soldier Soldier in the 1990s.
He will be joining fellow Thrones cast members James Cosmo, Finn Jones, Spencer Wilding, Julian Glover and Gemma Whelan for an exclusive HBO sponsored panel talk event.
Gareth David-Lloyd, who played fan favourite Ianto Jones in BBC hit series Torchwood, will also be at the event.
Red Dwarf cast members Chris Barrie, Danny John Jules and Robert Llewellyn, famous for portraying Rimmer, Cat and Kryten in the comedy science fiction show, will be talking.
World renowned Transformers artists Andrew Wildman, Jason Cardy and John Paul Bove are also on the bill, as is voice acting veteran Billy West who stars as Fry and Dr Zoidberg in the hit show Futurama.
American actor Thomas Ian Nicholas, known for his role as Kevin Myers in the American Pie films, will travel from Los Angeles to make his first ever public appearance at a signing this year.
Warwick Davis, veteran of the Star Wars films and recently seen in Life’s Too Short with Ricky Gervais, will makes his Comic Con debut.
Craig Fairbrass from the Call of Duty series, John Challis of Only Fools and Horses, Virginia Hey from Farscape and Marc Silk who voiced Johnny Bravo on the Cartoon Network will also be there.
